TSMC introduces A13 and updates its process roadmap

TSMC introduced A13 at its 2026 North America Technology Symposium; the release was published on April 23.
The A14-based shrink offers a stated 6% area reduction and backward-compatible design rules. Production is planned for 2029, rather than being an already achieved milestone.
